Nived Lakshman’s Story

About Me

Hi, I’m Nived Lakshman, a 17-year-old senior at Downingtown East High School. My top priority is spreading mental health awareness and leading efforts to prevent teen suicide. I’ve collaborated with school districts to improve suicide prevention programs and am currently seeking other students to help organize suicide prevention symposiums in their schools. Beyond this work, I’m passionate about community service, leading the Horizon Networks Club, and working on domestic violence policies in the PA State Senate.
